$10,000 MyMozaic Scholarship
Official Rules and Eligibility
I. PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY:
This competition is open to students enrolled in a high school or college in the United States who are US Citizens or are lawfully living in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Applicants must be thirteen (13) years of age or older on the date of their entry to qualify. Applicants must have an active MyMozaic.com profile with a minimum of three (3) items. These items can be any combination of documents, photos or videos. Applicants must also have a minimum of five (5) followers on MyMozaic.com.
II. APPLICATION PERIOD:
The scholarship period begins on June 1st at 12:00am Eastern Standard Time (EST) and ends on May 31st at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Any student member of MyMozaic.com at this time who meets the requirements in Part I of this Official Rules and Eligibility statement is eligible to win the prize.
III. PRIZES:
A total of one (1) cash prize of $10,000 will be awarded. Payment will be made via a Recruit Connect Inc check. If the prize is won by an eligible minor it will be awarded in the name of a parent or legal guardian.
IV. TAXES:
The one (1) prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
V. ODDS:
Your chance of winning a prize depends on the number of eligible students, as defined in Part I of this Official Rules and Eligibility statement, who join MyMozaic.com before the end of the Application Period in Part II of this statement.
VI. HOW TO APPLY:
To apply, visit www.mymozaic.com/scholarships, signup and create a profile. In addition to the requirements from Part I of this Official Rules and Eligibility statement, you must also provide your first and last name, your gender, your city, state and zip code, the name and level of your school, your graduation year, your GPA, the courses you take and your major(s) of interest.
VII. JUDGING CRITERIA:
Judges will evaluate each of the eligible students, as defined in Part I of the this Official Rules and Eligibility statement, on a points system based on, among other factors: academics, community service and extracurricular activities.

IX. TERMS OF SERVICE:
By joining MyMozaic.com, you acknowledge that you agree to our Terms of Service.
X. APPLICABLE LAWS AND JURISDICTION:
This Agreement and the resolution of any dispute related to this Agreement or the Web Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ohio without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any legal action or proceeding between MyMozaic and you related to the Agreement shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction sitting in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States, and you agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of such courts. If anyone brings a claim against Recruit Connect Inc related to your activity, conduct, content or information on MyMozaic.com, you agree to indemnify and hold Recruit Connect Inc harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to such claim.
XI. RIGHT TO CHANGE:
Recruit Connect Inc reserves the right to change the scholarship programs at any time, including available scholarships, deadlines, requirements, award amounts or other program details.
XII. DISCLAIMER:
Recruit Connect Inc shall not be liable to a winner or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond Recruit Connect Inc's sole control.
XIII. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
All entrants agree to release and hold harmless Recruit Connect Inc and all of its respective affiliated companies and all of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, legal counsel, and/or participating promotional partners from all losses, damages, penalties, claims, actions, suits, costs, and expenses of any kind whatsoever and any property damage, personal injury, or death to any participant or third person caused by or arising out of or in connection with participation in the competition or with the use of any prize awarded. Recruit Connect Inc is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to the competition or the equipment or programming used in its administration.
XIV. WINNERS:
Any scholarship winner in a calendar year will be contacted by email and/or phone in June of the following calendar year. If Recruit Connect Inc is unable to contact potential winner or if any potential winner fails to respond to the prize notification within seven (7) days of issuance of notification, Recruit Connect Inc reserves the right to award the prize, at its own discretion, to another MyMozaic.com member who meets the requirements in Part I of this Official Rules and Eligibility statement. Unclaimed prize(s) will not be awarded. Other restrictions may apply. Except where prohibited, participation in this competition constitutes winner's consent to Recruit Connect Inc and its agents' use of winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration or notification of permission.
