Education History
My primary area of involvement is my academics. From as young as 5 years old, exceeding in school has been one of my top priorities. My parents have always encouraged me to give everything I did my all, and it is incredibly important to me to make not only myself, but them proud. I am also thrilled to make the statement that I have maintained all A's, even through advanced placement and honors level classes. As a freshman, I accepted the challenge of the AP Biology course, and took, what is considered to be the most difficult of the AP tests. And I ended the class with a weighted average of 100. Currently I have a class rank of 17 out of 343 other students in my grade. I have also received multiple Presidential awards and recognition in science and math classes. It is my plan to continue my education through college, and to attend Wake Forest University. Even though I have proved myself in other subjects, I have a great interest in psychology and economics. I am fascinated to learn how and why people think the way they do. I also have always been intent and keen on economics, the ebb and flow of money, jobs, stocks, and how the government is involved. With research, I have found career opportunities integrating both economics and psychology, such as behavioral economics and consumer psychology.
Awards
I have received many awards over the course of my academic career including but not limited to: Superintendent's Key Scholar, State of Georgia and University of Georgia Certificate of Merit, Scholar Athlete, and I lettered three years in a row in academics.
Awards
I have been selected as team captain by my coaches and teammates on multiple club and school teams. I have also received the academic excellence award for different teams I have played on.
Additional Info
Volleyball is my passion. I participate in school volleyball during the early fall, but I also play club from the late fall through summer. Playing gives me the opportunity to make new friends, travel, compete with other teams from around the nation, and grow in the sport. But most importantly, I am able to push myself mentally as well as physically. I have the ability to express myself, athleticism, and have fun! This year, being on the junior varsity team, it is my goal to step up and be a leader. To me, becoming a choice player, encouraging teammate, and exceptional leader is not about getting a kill, or getting a win, no, it is about giving. Service to others is the number one thing that athletes need to not only become elite performers, but be the type of player your team wants to play with, and what coaches want to see. Before I began playing volleyball, I took part in recreational soccer for eight years and also swam competitively. As far back as I can remember, sports have always been a part of my life. And my hope is that they always will be.
Employment History
While babysitting for families throughout my neighborhood, I had full responsibility of children for eight hours each day for 3 day long periods. I had to demonstrate good leadership skills, hard work, patience, and reliability. Also, in working for a local business for nearly three years, I have had the responsibility of individually running the store. I have learned so much through countless hours of customer interaction, studying purchase trends, and working with money. I have developed as a leader through practicing time management skills, humility, and teamwork.

I have been active in my community from as far back as I can remember. As of now, I am active member in my church, National Honor Society, National Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy.
