Community Service
History
I currently work in my church (Warren Baptist Church in Augusta, GA with 5,000+ members) since two years ago as a key volunteer in our Children's Ministry. I have faithfully served on Wednesday's and Sunday's as a first grade teacher and worship leaders for the entire kids ministry. I also volunteer through my Girl Scout troop, and have helped out a large majority of our local programs through the Girl Scouts since joining a troop in early elementary school. I have received both the Girl Scout Bronze and Silver Awards for above and beyond community service through my troop.
I enjoy volunteering at a local school (Augusta Christian) assisting the art teacher there with her preparations for class.
Additional Info
Through volunteering at the school and my church, I have developed a passion for teaching the next generation of students. I have always loved animals, and due to my love for Biology and my experience at the vet clinic, I feel called to teach Biology in a classroom setting.
