I am apart of my school’s National Honors society, and I take my education very seriously because I am fortunate enough to be brought up in a good neighborhood where I can further my education in computer science.

I’m an avid member of my school’s ASB. And I take AP computer science at my school and I am one of 4 girls in my male dominate class.
History
My father is an immigrant from TJ, Mexico and his determination and work ethic has enspired me to make and impact on the world around me. My father came from Mexico with no money and ended up homeless, however he taught himself how to code and is now technical artist director for activision. He inspires me to make the most of opportunities given to me to do better than he has, and I believe that by furthering my education in computer science I will be able to make the computer science field better.

I really am passionate about computer science and want to help make an impact in the CS industry as a female coder. I am well aware of the lack of woman representation in my field of choice and I want to create female leadership in the CS world.
