Awards
• Jim Souter Memorial Scholarship Recipient 2019: Chosen and based off of qualifications in musicianship, leadership, and academic performance.
• Outstanding Band Member Award 2019: Given to one male and one female who display exceptional service to the program.
• Director’s Award 2019: Prestigious award is given to one band member who excels in all aspects of musicianship, leadership, and service.
• District Band 2015-2019: 1 of 12 chosen from 70 flutes.
• Region Band 2016-2019: 1 of 9 chosen from 70 flutes to advance and participate in region band clinic.
• First Chair 2017-2019: Top flute out of 30 at Winston Churchill High School for two consecutive years.
• Section Leader 2017-2019: Lead flute section by teaching marching and music, creating strong relationships, and executing the director’s vision.
• Secretary/Treasurer 2018-2019: Assist band President, Vice President, and directors. Take attendance for the entire band, create a calendar with a schedule, and organize social events.
