Since winter break is coming up, set aside some time between holiday festivities to apply for scholarships that will have deadlines in the upcoming new year. Even spending 30 minutes for a few days over break scrolling through scholarship websites could prove useful!
One website I stumbled upon recently has a bunch of scholarships listed by month, so take a look at the ones due in January and February (or December if you're feeling ambitious): https://jlvcollegecounseling.com/scholarships/all-scholarships-2/
The "Scholarships" tab also has several categories of scholarships to look at based on major, interests, athletic participation, etc., so you can narrow down your search more there.
