I have been the team captain of the cross country team for 2 years and have demonstrated both leadership and hard work ethic. I enjoy encouraging my teammates and like to pray with them before competitions.

I have the opportunity to build relationships with kids from 1st to 5th grade. I help lead discussion time with the 4th and 5th graders after the lesson. Recently, I have also been leading the kids in worship through songs on my guitar.
Cadet Teaching
I have the opportunity to be a Cadet Teacher in a first-grade class. Using my Spanish, I have been developing a relationship with a Dominican boy who is still learning English. Each day when I arrive, he smiles and runs up to give me a big hug.
Worship
I have been able to lead worship on the guitar for my youth group a number of times. I have also led worship for my church congregation. I enjoy learning new songs on the guitar.
