International Baccalaureate Music SL
2018 - 2019
During my junior year, I studied IB Music SL. The course began with the Renaissance Period and continued through 20th-century Contemporary Music. The goal of the course was to develop a knowledge of music theory, be able to identify the origin of a piece, and the period that the work was from. Additionally, the course required students to submit a recording of diverse vocal capabilities (15 minutes in duration) as an assessment that was evaluated internationally by the Organization.
CDYC - Capital District Youth Chorale
2016 - Present
I auditioned to join the Capital District Youth Chorale as a Soprano 1 while in Middle School. The organization is an advanced chorale for advanced singers in the Albany Capital Region and performs a sophisticated repertoire throughout the country. I have participated in CDYC every year except for when I was an exchange student living abroad.
Melodies of Christmas Chorale
2018 - Present
The Melodies of Christmas Chorale is a group of distinguished singers who are selected through a highly competitive audition process. The organization performs alongside the Empire State Youth Orchestra to raise money for Pediatric Oncology at Albany Medical Hospital. The performance is televised on the local CBS station and has raised more than 8 million dollars.
Greenville High School Musical
2016 - Present
The Greenville High School Music Department performs an annual student-centered musical. I have participated at different levels from being a member of the Ensemble to holding a lead role. Last year, my performance as Uncle Fester in the production of The Addams Family received a nomination for the SLOC High School Musical Theater Award. This year, my school will be performing "Fiddler on the Roof" and I will be performing as Yente (the matchmaker).
NYSSMA Festival - New York State School Music Association Evaluation

NYSSMA is an adjudicated music festival whereby students are evaluated on their musical capabilities. There are 6 levels ranging in difficulty from level 1 (easiest) to level 6 (most challenging.) Vocal students are evaluated on tone, intonation, technique, diction, accuracy, interpretation and sightreading. In 2017, I performed a level 6 solo and scored a 94/100. In 2019 I performed a level 6 solo and scored a 96/100. I did not perform in 2018 as I was living abroad as an exchange student.
