Education History
I have taken advanced classes ever since I have been given the opportunity. I also attend Central Virginia Governor's School for Science and Technology. In Governor's School, I have conducted real-world research on the tidally disrupted stars of the globular cluster Messier 3 (M3).
Awards
I have won honor roll all throughout my school career and even won the Golden "A"; award in 2013. I was accepted into the National Honor Society (NHS) and will have finished over 50 hours of volunteer service by the end of this school year.
Additional Info
I was the first student in my school (Monelison Middle School) to have won an essay competition for a full scholarship to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. I currently still am the only student from that school to have won the competition. I was also interviewed by a local radio station and multiple local newspapers for my achievement.

I won The Director's Award for Band in 2015 for showing leadership and adequate skills in the band.

I have been a part of a band since 2012. I joined the Amherst County High School Marching Band in 2014, became the Drumline Captain in 2017, and was elected Drum Major in 2018.

I have been pursuing my career in Astronomy for 8 years and plan on Majoring in Physics to receive my Masters, then later transitioning into Astronomy.
Community Service
History
• I have volunteered at the Amherst County Fair. I was positioned in the front gate where I checked for contraband. I was also positioned at an ice truck where I sold ice to vendors. Finally, I placed wristbands on those who came to the fair at the ticket booth.
• I am part of a youth group at Elon Baptist Church who regularly serve the community by aiding in any way possible, such as cleaning debris after a tornado.
• I currently volunteer at Food For Thought where I unpackage, count, sort, and prepare bags of food for children in surrounding schools who cannot afford it themselves.
