During my junior year, I was a Campus Reporter (videographer) at my school, SYA Spain. This consisted of making several videos throughout the year for our school's website (school trips, teacher appreciation, co-curricular, etc.) and posting Boomerangs to the school's Instagram.
During junior year, I also participated in 2 plays performed entirely in Spanish. I acted and did the sound/music design.
I started yearbook as chief editor during my eighth-grade year of middle school. Then I continued yearbook throughout my high school career.

Additional Info
I do most of my volunteering at a program I attended called Summerbridge. It is a three-year academic enrichment program that prepares disadvantaged, yet ambitious middle school students to succeed in rigorous high schools and to complete college. I have been volunteering with Summerbridge for three years now. This past summer I worked for three weeks as a Non-Teaching Intern helping the faculty wherever I could whether making copies or entertaining students during meetings. During the school year, I do tutoring, advocacy, office work, and I am part of the Admissions Committee for two months in the spring. My hours vary depending on my availability and the program’s need, but on average I volunteer one hour per week.
Camp Jones Gulch is also my second home. I volunteered there as a LIT (Leader-in-Training) and a CIT (Counselor-in-Training). This summer, I will be a Junior Counselor.
