I would love to become a computer scientist, researcher, or entrepreneur in the future. I've always had a passion for computer science since middle school, but since my school didn't offer any classes on computer science, I decided to self-teach myself Java and C# from youtube. Surprisingly, I really got the hang of it and have just been continually increasing my knowledge of all sorts of different programming libraries and resources.
I'm also very interested in quantum computing, as I believe this could very well be the key to many of our problems. While I'm hesitant to say whether or not it would be capable of finding a cure to cancer, I'm confident that if we can harness more efficiency from this processor, we will be able to solve many problems like never before. I've even started learning Q#, a programming language built by microsoft for programming on a quantum computer.
I'm also actually working on several different small startups, all of which are software related. I believe SaaS is a great business model that when executed correctly, can take off quite quickly. My hope is to create software that is affordable to everyone and will help me to fund additional ventures and open up more research opportunities.

I love to work on music production with friends as I am currently working on creating an indie game. It helps to know how to create music because then I can create music according to themes and moods!
Outside in nature, I also enjoy looking at scenery - because I know it's unlikely I'll be able to revisit the place again, I always try to take photos. Because of this, I take pride in the photos I take - each one holds a dear memory within. I also help my mom conduct her real estate by taking photos of homes for her - as a result, I've self-taught myself all the functions of a DSLR, and it really inspired me to dig deeper and learn additional skills such as night time photography, wide angle scenery, and moon shots. I've come a long way and have just constantly delved deeper into technology and hardware as a result!

While I'm not the most athletic person in town, I love ping pong! I started playing ping pong when I was 10, and find the quick nature of the sport to be exhilarating and alive. Since then, I never stopped playing and strive to be the best I can be!

I participate in many activities relating to the computer science field. At my school, I helped to start multiple different programs and clubs. As an example, my school now hosts an annual hackathon: https://cavhack.org/. As another example, I also co-founded the competitive and collaborative coding club at my school - because of this, our school now has several teams competing at regional competitions and receiving podium finishes. We also have a few teams working on creating software - one I'm currently involved in is a custom IDE for developers to use, built entirely from scratch.
Asides from school, I also love to conduct research and create software simulations. For this year's science fair, I'm currently creating a physics engine modeling the space debris orbiting earth and adding in path-traversal algorithms to create a theoretical solution to a space debris collector.
Overall, I love working on computer science and machine learning, and I hope I will be able to continue my research into college!

Around school, I love to partake in many volunteer opportunities. From tutoring students in their academics to mentoring students to conduct research and projects, I make sure students at my school are always well prepared for what's ahead.
In my community, I often assist the elderly and children by helping in summer camps, conducting recycling sessions, and helping cook for neighbors.
