In the past I was able to be a fully functioning assistant and secretary, however in recent months I have had to step down and opt for the more flexible schedule that the US Soccer Referee Program allows. Balancing school, clubs, sports, and volunteering left too little time for a part-time job.

Helping others has always been a very important part of my life, and so I try to reflect this in the community service activities I take part in. That is why I participate in Adopt A Grandparent, putting smiles on the faces of the elderly in nursing homes who often feel lonely during Christmas time. That is why I tutor students who speak mainly Spanish, easing their worries about not understanding the lesson in class. That is why I volunteer at the Sheriff's camp, giving kids who otherwise could not afford a summer camp a fun week of all things soccer.
