• • Built ramps for the disabled in North Carolina for a week. Developed personal relationships with those we helped.
• Tutoring after school (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th)
• • Spanish and math. I mostly tutored Algebra 2, pre-calculus, and calculus as well as any lower algebra classes. I helped with Spanish 2 and below.
• Little Language Learners (10th, 11th, 12th)
• • Taught Spanish to elementary children after school, created lessons and got to use creative ways to engage students.
• Pulsera Project (11th)
• • Raised over $700 by selling bracelets made by artists. All profits were returned to the artists in Guatemala and Nicaragua supporting fair trade and funded merit based scholarships. Personally created the market plan as well as organization of all funds and product.

• • Helped pack food to be shipped off to countries recently affected by natural disasters or struggling with extreme poverty.

• • Organized collection of hats, mittens, and socks to the homeless for the winter.
