I'm a mildly autistic wannabe game developer that struggles with depression which brings anxiety and insomnia along with it. I also like video games.
My college experience has had a rough start. In my second semester of school I ended up sleeping all day which made me miss many of my classes. For some people its partying that beats them. For others like me its sleep. I later learned that this was due to stress but the damage was already done. I managed to rise my GPA from a 1.41 to a 1.82 from all my hard work. After seeing how little progress I made I quickly realized that I needed some time away. I needed to learn how to manage all the my mental issues. I thought the best way would be to get a job, so got certified to use Unity and started to look for jobs. I finally landed a summer job with iDTech. I never thought I would work there due to my anxiety and social issues, but they were happy to have me. Attempting to teach and chaperone kids for 14-15 hours a day was hard both physically and mentally, but they say I performed well. After that grueling experience I felt it was time to get my degree which meant I needed scholarships which led me here.
