I am in the Professional Craft/Fiber Program at Haywood Community College. I am currently studying Weaving and Color and pattern design. As an out-of-state student, my financial aid was not quite enough to cover part-time. I started with 3 classes this semester. I have already completed one, with a 4.0 GPA.
The program I am in is unprecedented, it not only teaches the Craft of weaving but it teaches marketing and photography. I will learn how to start my own business from the ground up! I am very excited!

I served at a local daytime homeless program located in Guntersville, Alabama for two years. I also went into the city jail in Arab, Alabama to bring hope and courage to the woman inmates.
