Community Service
History
I have volunteered over 200 hours throughout various community service projects in my hometown. This includes weekly volunteering at my local fire department, where I am a member; monthly volunteering at the Huntingdon County Humane Society; monthly volunteering at the Southern Huntingdon Area Library; miscellaneous service projects through 4-H and FFA; and the planning and implementation of my own service project to raise funds for a scholarship program.
Additional Info
The programs that I planned and implemented were a Princess for a Day event and a Farmer for a day event where young children and their families could either be pampered or learn about agriculture for a small fee. All proceeds were donated to a local scholarship fund.
