Employment History Since fall 2016, I have worked for a variety of GlenOak High School sports teams as their videographer, communicating regularly with coaches to meet their needs for game films and highlight reels. I worked for the girls soccer team during their 2016 and 2017 fall seasons. I also worked for the boys lacrosse team in the spring of 2017 and both the girls and boys lacrosse teams in the spring of 2018. I also worked for the varsity football team in the fall of the same year. I used professional video equipment to tape all home and away games. I then uploaded the digital files to YouTube and Hudl.com in timely manner for coaching staff. This allowed the coaches to review the game in order to see what the team needs to work on before the next game. For the football team, I also used the footage I filmed during the game to create hype reels that were then posted on social media before the next game. This spring, I have been hired by Malone University’s football program and by GlenOak’s boys and girls lacrosse teams in this same capacity.

Community Service

History During my time in the advanced strings orchestra at Enrichment, I worked for two years as a volunteer intermediate strings for underserved Canton youth. I also provided instruction on reading music and playing in an ensemble. Since the summer of my 8th grade year of school, I have gone on at least one mission trip with my youth group every summer. On these trips I aided experienced builders with range of construction work and learned basic skills of cement and mortar mixing and pouring; exterior house painting; and floor, drop-ceiling, porch, and roofing removal and installation. I also assisted with children’s programs, food distribution, and yard clean-up.
Additional Info I view all of these experiences as times when I got to grow in my abilities and form stronger bonds with people both inside and outside of my community. They provided learning experiences for me on interacting with others and created a desire in me for giving back to my community whenever I can. I feel that service work is important because it gets people to come together with a single goal in mind. It is something not only good for those in need, but it helps the workers find fulfillment in ways that other forms of work are unable to meet. Overall, it is a good experience for all involved, and I intend to always keep helping where I can, whether that is in my community or in a remote area of world.
