I want to become a teacher for special needs teenagers and young adults because I feel I have a responsibility to do so since my younger brother has autism. I have some life experience about behaviors, habits, and cognitive skills that these people and my brother have and I believe a degree is great and necessary but it cannot fully cover the experience people like me have.
