  • History I am returning to school after a decade for myself, to better my family, and to set a good example for my now 5 month old son. After high school I traveled the country hitch hiking and working odd jobs to make my way. A true gift and insight into the human condition. When I left I had very little hope left in mankind. To my surprise I found more kindness than I knew it was still left in this world. People who take the shoes off their feet for you. People who celebrated our differences. It was uplifting and an experience I will carry with me until my dying day. I will always remember the stars in the desert, The ocean crashing to the shore as I eagerly await the fabled green flash. The towering of the red ones feeling like Alice in wonderland. The great expanse of the Grand Canyon. Too many beautiful wonders to list here. But it was these experiences that set my life into a different motion. I found myself settling into the the red woods in Northern California. Where I pursued playing guitar and singing professionally. I played some good gigs and began to give lessons to make rent, I met my husband and after marriage came baby. I love my life I love where I come from and where I’m going. And the only thing I could possibly make it any better is to pursue my dreams of getting my masters. To be the very first in my family with a masters. To show my son but whatever path you choose to walk you can always accomplish your dreams.
