• Collected used shoes from students at my high school and donated to an organization that distributes said shoes to the needy in Africa.
• Collected and donated pet supplies to a several local dog shelters
• Assisted my schools athletic director in finding a contractor to replace the gutters on the football stadiums concession stand and ticket booth
• Select band students, including me, traveled to 2 elementary schools to play for the children as a reward for doing well in the first quarter
• My high schools STEM Club has hosted an event at our school, inviting elementary and middle school students to come and learn about what we do. My team presented the robot that we had built, and even let some children drive it. This events purpose was to get more young people interested and involved in STEM.
